About the event

In this course we will teach you how to prepare the most traditional and beloved recipes of Catalan cuisine!

From a simple bread with tomato to a "fricandó" of soy with mushrooms or how to make a "Butifarra" made with beans, or some crunchy ocean fritters.

The most delicious cuisine you can find in Barcelona, now totally Plant Based but without losing its roots!

(The recipes will be made and tasted by all the participants and the number of recipes will depend on the number of participants.

You can purchase a variety of drinks in our location and pay them at the end of the event :).

Recipes for this course:

Starters:

  • Bread with tomato
  • "Sobrasada" pastries (Smoked paprika Paté)
  • Coca de escalivada (bread dough with baked veggies)
  • "Trinxat" from La Cerdanya with Romesco sauce (Potato-cabbage-garlic smash)
  • Catalan spinach tartlets
  • Ocean fritters

Main dishes:

  • Seasonal cannelloni with béchamel
  • Fideuá with artichokes, asparagus and alioli (Noodle Paella)
  • Meatballs with peas, green sauce and sea delights
  • "Fricandó" with mushrooms (stewed soy meat)
  • White beans "Butifarra" (vegan sausige)

Dessert:

  • Almonds Cream "Menjar blanc"
